A MATERIAL CONVERSATION

Begin with your design.

Weight is one part of a silk decision. Surface, drape, opacity and usable width all affect how a design develops. Our current satin selection brings a lighter champagne reference together with a more substantial white and black direction.

Build a useful brief.

  • Compare both weights in the proposed garment silhouette.
  • Review opacity, seam behaviour and colour under daylight and studio light.
  • Confirm the composition and usable width, then agree care through garment testing.
